USCIS Documents
1. A passport-style color photograph of each of you taken within 30 days of the date of I-129F petition.
2. Receipt notice of I-130 petition
3. Proof of petitioner's U.S. citizenship:
a) If you were born in the United States, provide a copy, front and back, of your birth certificate.
b) If you were naturalized, provide a copy, front and back, of your Certificate of Naturalization.
c) Form FS-240 (Report of Birth Abroad of a United States Citizen)
d) Valid, unexpired U.S. passport issued with a validity period of at least five years. You must submit copies of all pages in the passport
4. Beneficiarys passport and birth certificate.
5. Proof of your relationship, such as marriage certificate, wedding photos, correspondence.
6. A detailed statement by the petitioner, describing the development of your relationship.
7. If either of you were married before, provide copies of documents showing that each prior marriage was legally terminated, e.g. death certificate of ex-spouse or final decree of divorce

Documents for Visa Interview
1. Valid Passport. Passport-sized photos of the applicant(s) and a photocopy of passports personal information pages
2. NIV application fee receipt
3. Notarized police certificate. Applicants aged 16 or older must submit this form for all countries in which the applicant has resided for one year or more and where the applicant has been living for six months prior to the interview.
4. Notarized birth certificate for each applicant
5. Notarized Marriage certificate
6. Notarized divorce/death certificate(s) to prove dissolution of the previous marriage(s).
7. Results from a required medical exam in a sealed envelope
8. Evidence of support ability
a) Form I-134
b) The petitioners employment letter
c) The petitioners most recent federal tax return
d) Other financial proofs
9. Proof of bona fide marriage relationship between the petitioner and the beneficiary, such as photographs, telephone records, letters, joint property ownership, etc.
10. Proof of petitioners residency in the United States, such as utility or telephone bills
11. For applicants under 18, documents showing that the principal applicant has legal custody of the child, or a notarized statement from the parent who has custody giving permission for the child to immigrate to the U.S. Only children with divorced parents need to submit this document

Note All documents not in English must be accompanied by certified English translations. A competent translator must certify the translation and swear to the accuracy of the document before a notary public.
